📍 Project: Redux Office (2025)

Role:  Sound Designer
Overview
I worked on post-production sound design for Redux Office, a film inspired by The Office, created by RCHIVE Fashion Club.  My role focused on dialogue cleanup, background noise reduction, and final sound mixing to enhance the film’s story and immersive qualities.
Challenges & Solutions
🎧 Dialogue Clarity: Many scenes featured fast-paced, overlapping conversations similar to mockumentary-style sitcoms. I cleaned up dialogue tracks and used EQ adjustments to ensure every line was audible.
🔊 Background Noise Reduction: Some recorded takes had environmental noise. I used noise reduction tools in Adobe Premiere to clean up the final mix.
🎶 Sound Mixing for Immersion: To create a natural yet dynamic soundscape, I balanced ambient sounds, Foley work, and character interactions to maintain an engaging yet realistic environment.
Process
Audio Cleanup & Restoration: Removed unwanted background noise and enhanced vocal clarity.
Sound Mixing & Equalization: Adjusted levels across multiple dialogue tracks to maintain consistency.
Foley & Additional Sound Design: Added subtle effects to match on-screen actions for a polished finish.
Final Mastering: Ensured the mix sounded professional across different playback devices (cinema, online streaming).
Final Deliverables
âś… High-quality post-production sound mix for Redux Office.
âś… Mastered audio track optimized for the screening event at RCHIVE Fashion Club.
âś… Dialogue and ambiance layering to enhance realism and comedic delivery.
Outcome
The film premiered at RCHIVE Fashion Club in Toronto on February 28, 2025, and was well received for its production quality and comedic execution. My work on post-production sound contributed to the film’s immersive experience, ensuring that dialogue, ambiance, and sound effects were seamlessly integrated.
